Nestled against its own private woodland, in over 100 acres of Shropshire’s finest hills, Bridal Barn provides a unique setting a couples special day. The lovingly restored sandstone barn dates back to the 16th century. With vaulted, oak beamed ceilings and flagstone floors, you have an outstanding space assured to impress.
The wedding day…
The weather was very warm for time of year and it was perfect for an outdoor ceremony which took place on the hill surrounded by tall trees and woodland. It’s also worth noting that there is zero phone signal here which is perfect for that unplugged wedding day! Back down the hill to the barn and courtyard area for a huge confetti shot and followed by drinks and group shots.
I took Sophie & Adam into the woodland area for some rustic, natural portraits and it was time for a wedding breakfast feast followed by speeches in the courtyard. The evening dancing took place in a tipi within the courtyard with amazing music from Liam Price.

On the day, James was brilliant. He fit right in, sometimes you barely noticed he was there! He and our videographer got on like a house on fire and worked so well together despite having never met. It’s really important you invest the energy and research when booking a photographer and I can honestly say I don’t think we could have chosen anyone better.
