I’m sure you’ll have lots of questions when planning your wedding, it can be a bit of a minefield! i’ll run through the top Qs i’m often asked below.

WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER? ANY TRAVEL EXPENSES?

I am based in the heart of Staffordshire but will go to wherever your big day takes me! I will travel to most parts of the UK but far reach ones will incur in travel costs (check with me on this but most of the time I don’t like to charge).

WHAT’S YOUR PRICING?

You can find my pricing packages here! You also have the option to add a 2nd photographer or book in a pre-wedding shoot to get a little practice in before the big day.

CAN YOU HOLD THE DATE FOR US?

Yes, i’m happy to pencil you in for a week if you need to finalise things. If someone does enquire for your date i’ll always drop you an email to let you know. The date isn’t yours until the deposit is paid & confirmation sent over.

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE GET?

On a full day, Around 400-500. Half day 250-300 approx. I don’t limit the number of photos you receive but equally I don’t release anything to you that doesn’t live up to my high standards.

HOW LONG AFTER DO WE GET THE IMAGES?

Not long at all! You’ll get a little preview sneak peak hitting your inbox within a few days of the wedding so something to look at and share whilst I prepare your final gallery. This is around 8-12 weeks in high peak season and 6-8 at other times of the year.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU GET SICK?

Well I consider myself fit and healthy but we all know that sometimes we get sick and it can be beyond our control. I have an amazing network of professional wedding photographers (even stronger since covid) and in the event of serious illness I would be able to ask them to help. I will always edit the images in my own signature style.

WHAT’S A PRE-WEDDING SHOOT?

Engagement/pre-wedding Sessions are really just a practice before the big day and a great opportunity to meet up before your wedding day and spend an hour or so getting to know each other. We can take a little walk in the woods or a location of your choosing and get some cool extra photos of you both to add to your collection.

CAN WE HAVE THE RAW IMAGES?

No.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT GROUP SHOTS?

They are important to have but the less time we spend on them the more time I have to capture natural moments of you and your guests and more time focussing on some awesome portraits of you both! I always say 10 is a nice number (15 max). Trust me, after 5 you’ll be waiting it to end! especially if we are waiting for that certain person to get back form the loo or someone important has decided to go for a walk! It always happens.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?

Times have changed since the older generation got wed so all my images are now delivered digitally. You’ll get an online link to your awesome finished gallery and a beautiful slideshow creating all the feels. On the back of this is a shop where you can order prints, albums and framed items + loads more!

DO YOU DO ALBUMS?

Yes I do! and they are beautiful. On the back of your final wedding gallery is a personal shop where you can order not only albums but so much more including prints, and framed items. You can create these yourself without me getting involved! I’m there to offer advice if you need it.

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?

Yes. I am fully insured. I have full public liability and professional indemnity insurance! Venues often ask me for a PAT certificate but I don’t plug anything in on the day so have no need for one. I also have a Risk assessment page on my website here.

HOW DO WE BOOK & WHAT’S THE DEPOSIT?

I take a £250 booking fee to secure the date in my diary. If you are ready to book, I’ll just ask for a few details so that I can send over a quote to accept, a contract for you to sign along with details of how to pay the booking fee!
