Hey there, I'm James!
I’m a wedding photographer based in Staffordshire but you’ll find me travelling across the UK capturing love stories in all their candid, chaotic, and utterly beautiful glory. If you’re after stuffy, awkward poses… well, we might not be the best match! But if you love natural, storytelling photography that’s packed with personality, we’re going to get along just fine.
A Little Backstory…
Photography has always been a big part of my life. In fact, I still remember my very first camera—a clunky plastic thing I proudly wielded on a family holiday in Cornwall. My unsuspecting relatives were my first models, and let’s just say my love for candid moments started early!
Before going full-time with photography, I spent 17 years as a graphic designer after earning my BA in Graphic Communication in 2001. Creativity runs through everything I do, whether it’s designing, shooting, or making the perfect cup of coffee (seriously, I take my caffeine very seriously ☕).
What I Do
Weddings are my jam. I love the energy, the laxeven a bit of corporate photography. If there’s a story to be told through a camera lens, count me in.
When I’m Not Taking Photos…
You’ll find me spending time with my wife Hayley, and our little boy, probably adventuring through the gorgeous Staffordshire countryside or visiting his favourite places (namely Cbeebies land at Alton Towers!). I’m also a big Wolverhampton Wanderers fan and a total TV/film geek—seriously, ask me about my favourite movies, and I could talk for hours!
