I’m so happy to share the story of Hannah & Andrew’s breathtakingly beautiful, fun, and relaxed wedding day that took place at the stunning Homme House in Herefordshire this past September. Nestled in the heart of Herefordshire, Homme House provided the perfect backdrop for this beautiful wedding & blessing surrounded by close family & friends. The historic venue, surrounded by lush gardens and rolling hills, offered a picturesque setting for Hannah & Andrews dream day and we totally lucked in with a gorgeous September day, sunshine all day long! The elegance of Home House combined with the natural beauty of the countryside created a truly stunning atmosphere.
I arrived at Homme House nice and early as Hannah & Andrew were having their ceremony at 11.30 outside at the top of the gardens, a blessing was then to take place in the nearby church at 1pm so it was a busy day moving around locations! I always love to capture both sides getting ready so I spent some time with Hannah, her mum, sister and close family providing some timeless memories & moments. Andrew alongside best man and close family were in the library as we put the finishing touches to his attire & I made sure the button holes were firmly in place.
The sunshine was out for the official ceremony, followed by a traditional confetti shot back down the hill and after a short break it was to the nearby church for the blessing. Most people took the 20 minute walk back to Homme House but for Hannah & Andrew a quick ride back in the car gave me some precious moments alone with them for some extra photos before the afternoon drinks and canapès began!
Speaking of the canapès, all the food on the day was provided by Fat Rabbit & was amazing! something new for me! We got the huge group shot outside the front of the main house & after some drinks and food, myself, Hannah & Andrew explored the gardens for some wonderful couple portraits. The apple orchard was a gorgeous spot and provided some of the best shots of the day!
Following a stunning wedding breakfast, we had the speeches – full of laughter and emotion & then we had a quick cut of the cake before something beautiful was about to happen in the library room. Yes, Hannah & Andrew didn’t want a traditional first dance so instead gathered everyone together and performed a piano duet to awe from everyone in the room.
By now it was dark so guests made their way outside for a sparkler send off and I said my goodbyes to a wonderful day.
