A new family shoot to share with you today and one I’ve been wanting to do for ages! There are so many amazing little hidden spots near Eccleshall in Staffordshire where I live and Jackson’s Coppice & Marsh, a Staffordshire Wildlife Trust woodland area, is one of those locations! Just perfect for photography.
I took a walk with the Horton family, Ryan, Kirsty and little Edie for around an hour, chatting, walking and creating some fun, natural shots. I always find initially when working with kids, they take a little while to feel comfortable in front of the camera and in no time Edie was being her cheeky self giving me plenty to photograph! We certainly lucked out with dry not too sunny weather and a nearby buttercup field was a great addition to the woods to get some super summer shots! We just let Edie wander and I snapped, the results say it all!
My family photoshoots are so relaxed and its my aim to put everyone at ease, chat naturally and capture lovely moments rather than too many posed shots. Ryan and Kirsty were so happy with the set of photos I delivered and left me some amazing feedback!
“We had a family photoshoot by James over the weekend and we’re blown away by the results. James isn’t only a very talented photographer but such a lovely person too. The shoot was so natural, it was just like going for a walk with a friend. I love every single photo, so it was so hard to choose my favourite ones! Would 100% recommend to anyone” – Ryan and Kirsty.
Thank you both so much, you were amazing to work with!
Below is a little snapshot from our lovely walk! my dates are filling up now but if you would like something similar to this then drop me a message here
