When two became three!

Maternity newborn photographer in Staffordshire

There is something really special and intimate about a maternity shoot with a couple and this one was done at a special place for Victoria and Shaun. Baden Hall near Eccleshall in Staffordshire was the place of their wedding a couple of years ago. I had only photographed there once before at a charity event, but in the summer sunshine it was the perfect backdrop! we made use of the gardens, lakes, the tree filled driveways and nearby wheat fields to capture some gorgeous natural shots.

Meet Marleigh!

Shortly after I delivered the maternity shoot images I received a message from Victoria, firstly thanking me, but secondly telling me it looked like the little one was on the way later that evening! Looks like we timed this one to perfection! We quickly arranged for myself to stop by a week or so later at their home and I captured the happy couple with little Marleigh the perfect little subject. I love to do these in the home as you get the best natural results, everyone can relax and it really comes across in the photos.

So so many people come to me saying they really don’t like having their photo taken and feel awkward in front of the camera. I try to pride myself on relaxing my couples and families and put them totally at ease, chatting, laughing, getting some super natural shots where they both look totally at ease and super happy and totally in the moment.
