A late summer Saturday in September, saw the wedding of Joe and Zoe from Tarleston in Preston. I travelled a bit further north to work alongside Delicious Photography capturing their super chilled special day, and what a day it was!
The day started with bridal prep just a few minutes from the church in Tarleston. We were joined by Zoe’s two dogs, one was even dressed for the occasion in his own bow tie! After a bit of champers to start the day off right, it was on with the make up, then into the dress and a short drive to the church where we met up with Joe, his best manned the rest of the guests.
Joe’s dad was a farmer and the wedding transport to take the couple the short ride to the reception was a trailer pulled by one of his own Tractors! You can see a snap or two of this below. The reception was held at Joe’s parents farm inside a tipi, a perfect setting for a later summer’s day. Zoe and Joe seemed up for anything and it was their wish to have some shots done in the natural surroundings of the farm. These included trudging through the cornfields and portraits by the family tractor!
The day closed with hay bails scattered around the dance floor and the all important first dance followed by a DJ, awesome dancing and inflatable guitars and glasses (just because!). It was such a laid back and chilled day and as the sun went down over the farm, drinks flowed and guests danced the night away.
The following week both Zoe and Joe headed off to Canada for their honeymoon and had the trip of a lifetime.
I have made a slideshow of their special day and you can view that here! Enjoy a selection photo’s below!
